We all have heard of Program Piracy, it's the act of copying
a Game or a Computer Program and selling the copy for less money while
you are gaining for the profits. Because don't fool yourselves... the man
who sold you that non authentic game did not do you a favor... you and
all those other buyers just gave him a present he'll never forget. Money!
Lots of them! Piracy is helping him, not you, nor the maker.
People gaining from other peoples' hard work, that's what
piracy is all about. Hey I'm sure some will say "Hey, I can buy Game-1
authentic but I can buy Game-1, Game-2 and Game-3 non authentic for the
exact same money..." and I'll say "Why not, it's your problem" but don't
forget that when buying a non authentic product, then: 1) You'll have no
guarantee for it, 2) No manuals whatsoever and 3) You are forgetting about
all those people who worked hard and missed weekends and holidays to bring
this product to you on time without any mistakes.
The thing is, when you buy an authentic cd, you are not just
paying for the disk or the paper used to make the manuals and cover
but for those peoples' labor as well.
When you buy the program or game they made... you are
paying them for their hard work, motivating them to make another, even
better than before. I am not going to lecture you about computer piracy
but just remember:
"If you want to see the sequel, buy the original..." .
